Meet Dr. Matthew Agnini, DDS
Dr. Matt Agnini (Dr. Matt, as he prefers) Graduated from Florida Southern College in 1997 and then went on to follow in his father's footsteps and decided to go to dental school. He graduated from The University of Maryland in 2002 and then did a hospital based General Practice Residency at the Baltimore VA hospital from 2002-2003. This is when Dr. Matt gained a wealth of training in dental implants. In 2004, Dr. Matt moved back to Lakeland Florida and joined up with his father Dr. Mike Agnini in his dental practice. A year later, his brother, Dr. Drew Agnini also joined the group and their practice began to flourish eventually branching off to two separate locations. Agnini Family Dental also became the official team dentist of the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, where they have their Spring training facility.
Dr. Matt was active in the Polk County Dental Association for many years and was president of PCDA from 2010-2011. He has also been active in many other professional associations like the ADA and the AGD, to name a few and is a Fellow of the Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Matt currently owns and practices the Affordable Dentures and Implants in Leesburg Florida where he offers services ranging from dentures and single tooth implants to full mouth rehabs with dental implants. Dr. Matt is also licensed to perform IV sedation on his patients.
Dr. Matt enjoys spending time on the water with his family wake surfing and boating on the Harris Chain of Lakes on which he lives. He is also a private pilot and loves flying the beautiful Florida skies in his Cessna 210.
